Generous donation from Eversheds
Eversheds have just pledged a very generous amount to the beneficiaries of the Lamu to Zanzibar 2017 expedition.

Their kind donation in support of Marine Education Programmes in East Africa, run by Local Ocean Conservation and the African Billfish Foundation will greatly help to educate many underpriveleged children about the wonders and value of the marine environment, and the opportunities it offers to improve liveilhoods for developing communities.
Local Ocean Conservation (LOC) is a non-profit organization committed to the protection of the Kenyan marine environment through community development, practical conservation, education, research and campaigning. LOC's Conservation Education programme welcomes local, national and international schools aand Universities.
African Billfish Foundation (ABF) is a unique charity which maintains and analyses the largest billfish tagging database in Africa. The program also encourages fishing practices that support sustainable uses compatible with conservation, whilst still maintaining economic returns.
